PETER DE GOLIA focuses his practice on assisting clients with commercial litigation and disputes across a variety of industries. Peter has experience in all stages of litigation and investigations, from advising on pre-suit litigation risk management to guide business decisions, through initial fact investigation, drafting pleadings, fact development and discovery, taking and defending depositions, dispositive motion practice, and trial.
During law school, Peter was a supervising editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal. Prior to joining Sidley, he completed a fellowship with Pacific Legal Foundation where he worked on cases relating to property rights and economic liberty. Before law school, Peter was a paralegal at an international law firm where he worked on numerous securitization transactions.
