MATTHEW HOLOHAN is a staff attorney working with the Commercial Litigation and Disputes and Securities & Derivatives Enforcement and Regulatory practices where he has represented corporations involved in government investigations and commercial litigation. Matthew has significant experience with antitrust second requests from U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC), False Claims Act (FCA) and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations, as well as enforcement actions by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Matthew has extensive experience in electronic discovery matters including predictive coding and technology assisted reviews. In working with these practice groups, he has conducted efficient and cost-effective electronic discovery for internal investigations and responses to investigations by U.S. government agencies.
Matthew’s representative matters include:
- Represented numerous technology and telecommunication companies in responding to DOJ and FTC second requests for antitrust review.
- Representation of a General Services Administration Schedule contractor in connection with a qui tam lawsuit and related DOJ investigation under the FCA alleging violations of the price reduction clause.
- Represented a registered investment adviser in an SEC investigation of alleged violations of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
