CARMEN ORTEGA-RIVERO focuses her practice in class actions, antitrust, contract, and other business disputes. Carmen’s litigation experience covers a variety of industries, including energy, sports, and real estate.
In addition to her commercial litigation experience, Carmen defends companies in complex criminal and civil investigations and white collar matters. She represents clients in issues involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and antitrust violations.
Carmen graduated, magna cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law. In 2018, Carmen served as a judicial intern to The Honorable Adalberto Jordan for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Carmen is a native Spanish speaker.
