TRACY SMITH is an associate in Sidley’s Century City office and a member of the firm’s M&A and private equity practices. She completed a fellowship with the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice where she assisted survivors of human trafficking, domestic abuse and other serious crimes with their claims for U.S. immigration relief.
Tracy earned her J.D., summa cum laude and Order of the Coif from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, where she served as lead articles editor of the Pepperdine Law Review. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Beverly Reid O’Connell of the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the Honorable Sandra Segal Ikuta of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to law school, Tracy worked in business and legal affairs at a film production company in Los Angeles.
