Project Description |
Alam Sehat Lestari (ASRI) is an Indonesian non-profit committed to protecting the connections between human and environmental health in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Their projects engage local communities in integrating high-quality, affordable healthcare with strategies to protect biodiversity and natural resources. ASRI’s mobile clinic for example, visits remote communities around the Gunung Palung National Park giving villagers the opportunity to trade conservation of the park for healthcare services. ASRI will soon begin the construction of a healthcare clinic which will provide training for health workers and oversee organic agricultural projects.
