The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on NCAA policy for college athletes’ educational benefits opened the door for their compensation, say authors Michael Schmidtberger and Braeden Anderson, the latter having played college basketball for Seton Hall while he attended law school. But the NCAA needs to change its business model to institute fair changes and improve transparency with athletes in mind, and not for its own bottom line, they say.
