Matthew C. Thompson, a partner in Sidley’s Century City office and co-leader of the Entertainment, Sports and Media group firmwide, has been named to The Hollywood Reporter’s 2023 “Power Lawyers” list, which annually profiles Hollywood’s top 100 lawyers.
Matt was lauded for representing Conan O’Brien, Conaverticals, Team Coco, and Middle Child in the sale of Conan’s podcast empire and iconic Team Coco brand to Sirius XM. He was also praised for counselling Mark Burnett in a multi-year continuation of his relationship with MGM and Amazon, in addition to his work on music-related acquisitions for Warner Music Group.
