Sidley and Partner Dr. Marcus Klie Once Again Honored as a Top Law Firm and Lawyer for M&A in Germany by Wirtschaftswoche

For the third year in a row, German business magazine WirtschaftsWoche has recognized Sidley and M&A/Private Equity partner Dr. Marcus Klie in its annual list of the most prestigious law firms and lawyers for M&A in Germany. The Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) conducted a survey among over 5,000 lawyers from 243 law firms, inquiring about their most distinguished peers in the field of M&A. Based on the evaluations received, 49 law firms, comprising of 83 lawyers, were recognized for their excellence in M&A.

Based in Sidley’s Munich office, Dr. Marcus Klie focuses on all aspects of German business and corporate law, in particular on cross-border and national mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, public tender offers, and corporate restructurings.
