Louisa Kiu, counsel in Sidley’s Boston office, will be recognized as a “New Leader in the Law” at ALM/Law.com’s New England Legal Awards. The accolade spotlights lawyers under age 40 who have excelled in client service and cultivation, in the courtroom, in service to bar associations, as well as in pro bono work or community service.
Louisa practices in the firm’s Investment Funds group, representing some of the world’s leading asset managers in the structuring and offering of complex registered and private funds. She has served on SidleyWomen, which was created to help women succeed at the firm, for the past seven years and currently serves as the Boston SidleyWomen Counsel Leader. Louisa also mentors Sidley associates across offices and has served as a Diversity 1L mentor in Sidley’s 1L Diversity Mentorship Program. She previously served on the Private Funds Steering Committee for the Boston Bar Association.
