MICHAEL GAUCH focuses his practice on representing clients in the formation, structuring, operation, and offering of private investment funds and advising institutional investors in connection with their investments in private funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, “funds of one,” and funds of funds. He also advises registered funds and investment managers in connection with ongoing legal and regulatory compliance with securities laws.
In addition to his work with investment funds, Michael’s practice focuses on securities offerings, with an emphasis on REIT and other real estate-related transactions. His experience includes representing issuers and underwriters in a variety of capital markets transactions, including common equity transactions, preferred stock offerings, and secured and unsecured debt transactions.
Michael holds a B.S. in finance and marketing from Boston College. Michael received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where he received a certificate for coursework in transactional law and was a member of the Emory Transactional Law Program Negotiation Team.
