  • The arrangers on a US$850 million leveraged term facility and US$450 million subordinated limited recourse vendor loan note to finance the US$3 billion leveraged buyout of U.S.-listed Chinese online games developer and operator Giant Interactive Group by a consortium led by Baring Private Equity Asia, CDH, and Hony Capital.

• The financial adviser for CVC Capital Partners in connection with the US$1.1 billion privatization of Nirvana Asia, a market leading bereavement care provider, by way of a scheme of arrangement.

• Ally Bridge Group on the financing to fund its joint offer with a consortium established by an affiliate of the target company’s controlling shareholder and GL Capital Group, in its HK$2.34 billion (US$300 million) privatization offer for the H shares of Shandong Luoxin Pharmaceutical Group (HKSE: 8058) by way of a voluntary conditional cash offer.

• The financial adviser in the US$6.3 billion pre-conditional voluntary general offer by COSCO Shipping Holdings Co., Ltd. and Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd. to acquire all the shares of Orient Overseas (International) Limited.

• East West Bank on the financing in connection with the acquisition by Lunar Capital of a majority stake in The Women's Clinic Group.

Digital Infrastructure Financings

• AIMS, a data center business backed by DigitalBridge Group, on the upsize of its existing capital expenditure financing.

• Xenith IG, a Singapore-based dark fiber network infrastructure platform jointly established by DigitalBridge Group, a global digital infrastructure investment firm, and Columbia Capital, a leading venture capital firm in the digital infrastructure space, on its capital expenditure financings in Singapore and Australia.

• A sovereign wealth-backed client on the potential debt financing for a greenfield hyperscale data center.

• A client on a financing for the purchase of GPUs.

• Stonepeak on its strategic, preferred share investment into AGP Sustainable Real Assets, a Singapore-based global infrastructure and real assets developer and operator. “Highly Commended” for “Best Infrastructure Deal – Singapore/APAC,” at the FinanceAsia Achievement Awards 2024. 

• Blue Earth Capital (formerly PG Impact Investments)
  • On its financing to Valency International, an international commodity trading house, in Singapore and the UAE.
  • On its financing to Robust International, a trading services firm dealing specifically with agricultural commodities, in Singapore and Nigeria.
  • On its first sustainability-linked loan — a direct-credit investment into Q Collection Pte. Ltd., a leading vertically integrated apparel manufacturer headquartered in Singapore and with manufacturing operations in Bangladesh.
  • On its financing to PT Trihamas Finance, a regulated multi-finance institution specializing in used vehicle financing in Indonesia.
  • On its mezzanine debt investment into i-Finance Leasing PLC, a non-bank financial institution that offers leases to low-income individuals and MSMEs in Cambodia to purchase productive assets such as motorbikes, cars, and appliances/equipment.

• Geo Energy Resources Limited (Geo Energy) on its US$220 million financing from PT Bank Mandiri, to be applied toward the funding of certain acquisitions, working capital, and other capital expenditure requirements. Geo Energy is a major Indonesian coal producer listed on the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and principally engaged in operating coal mines, coal production, and coal sales throughout Asia.

• Ninja Van Group, a Singapore unicorn and Southeast Asia's leading tech enabled logistics organization, on a three-year committed US$50 million revolving credit facility from HSBC.

• PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk on its US$15 million green financing loan from Asian Development Bank, PT Bank DBS Indonesia, and the Australian Climate Finance Partnership to enhance sustainable transportation in Indonesia by increasing the supply of electric motorcycles and the number of battery swapping stations.

• A Korean education business on its financings from a direct lender.

• A subsidiary of Shandong Weigao Group Medical Polymer Company Limited on a CNH term loan facility.

• PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero) (MIND ID), Indonesia's state-owned mining holding company, on syndicated facilities.

• Amartha Nusantara Raya, a Jakarta-based microfinance technology platform, on a financing by the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, which invests in development projects in lower and middle-income countries.
