Workouts and Restructurings
Overview
Our lawyers have significant global workout and restructuring experience on behalf of lending and debtor clients with respect to loan transactions the group originated. That experience also extends to troubled credits originated by other firms transferred to us by clients seeking our experience with these situations. Our group’s lawyers partner with our colleagues in the reorganization and insolvency groups serving in a lead role in out-of-court restructuring transactions, as well as the financing and reorganization aspects of bankruptcy cases. Our lawyers represent both debtors and lenders involved in liquidity facilities, debt-to-equity exchange transactions, out-of-court sale processes, debtor-in-possession financings, forbearance agreements, plan of reorganization exit financings, Section 363 bankruptcy sales and the interpretation, negotiation and resolution of complex intercreditor and subordination issues.
