MARK PEMBERTON focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, representing public and private companies across industries in corporate and transactional matters, including public and private acquisitions, divestitures, and investments.
Mark earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Duke University School of Law, where he served as a staff editor for the Duke Law Journal and as a student-attorney for the Community Enterprise Clinic, advising local nonprofit organizations and social entrepreneurs on community development projects. Mark also helped found the Duke Law Florida Club to build out more robust pathways for students seeking to enter the Florida legal market after graduating from law school. Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in psychology and public affairs from The Ohio State University.
Prior to his legal career, Mark served as an elementary special education teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada, through Teach for America.
