Alexandra I. Rios

ALEXANDRA RIOS focuses her practice on M&A and private equity.

Prior to joining Sidley, Alex spent two years as a corporate and transactional associate with a leading global law firm and one year as assistant general counsel at an asset management firm based in Aventura, FL.

Alex earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While in law school, she was a senior managing editor for the Florida Law Review and was awarded the Frank E. Maloney Award for Outstanding Candidate.

Before law school, Alex attended the University of Miami where she earned her B.B.A. While at the University of Miami, she served as an ambassador and secretary for the President’s 100. 

• Represented OppFi Inc. (NYSE: OPFI), a tech-enabled specialty finance platform, in its strategic acquisition of a 35% equity interest in Bitty Advance, a credit access company offering revenue-based financing and other working capital solutions to small businesses.
• Represented JM Family Enterprises and its portfolio company, Futura Title & Escrow, LLC, the largest independent title and escrow group in the Pacific Northwest, in its acquisition of Momentum Title Agency, LLC which serves counties located in and around the Louisville Metro area in Kentucky and Indiana.
• Represented Comvest Capital Partners in its acquisition of Leixir Dental Group.
• Represented H.I.G. Capital in its acquisition of Supply Source Enterprises, Inc., The Safety Zone, LLC, and Impact Products, LLC.
• Represented Martis Capital in its sale of HLH Capricorn Holdings, LLC (d/b/a Healthy Living Network) to Mission Healthcare.
• Represented Martis Capital in its sale of Altruista Health, Inc. to HealthEdge Software, Inc.
• Represented Martis Capital in its sale of Care Hospice, Inc. to Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P.
• Represented Care Hospice, Inc., a Thomas H. Lee Partners platform, in connection with numerous acquisitions and divestitures.
• Represented affiliates of Lindsay Goldberg in their acquisition of multiple physician practices in Florida.
• Represented Refresh Mental Health, Inc., a portfolio company of Lindsay Goldberg, in its acquisition of various outpatient mental health & eating disorder centers across the country.
• Represented Lindsay Goldberg in its sale of Refresh Mental Health, Inc.
• Represented Hidden Harbor Capital Partners, LLC in its acquisition of SuperHero Fire Protection, LLC.
• Represented Hidden Harbor Capital Partners, LLC in its acquisition of Air Conditioning Specialist, Inc.
