Jihyun (Jamie) Yoon

JIHYUN (JAMIE) YOON focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Sidley, Jamie practiced at a leading Korean law firm as an associate, where she advised clients on international disputes and cross-border matters arising in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, and media and entertainment. Prior to that, Jamie served as a public prosecutor in Korea. After passing the Korean bar, she completed a two-year apprenticeship at the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea.

Jamie received her LL.M. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. During law school, Jamie served as a staff editor for the American Review of International Arbitration.
