| Project Description | Shea Radiance is a supply chain company that helps women shea collectors in West Africa to improve their income and health by developing a beauty brand, Shea Radiance, and implementing health and safety projects. Shea Radiance works with shea Cooperatives in Nigeria and Ghana, which engages 650 women and provides these women market access and higher prices for their produce. They also provide local shea producers with training to use locally sourced ingredients to produce personal care products. This creates an avenue for women share pickers in the rural communities to increase demand for locally produced shea in West Africa and increase their income. The company ensures that the women in their supply chain have the needed incomes to feed, clothe, and educate their children. |
