Sidley Investment Funds Partner Jay Baris will be hosting a fireside chat with SEC Commissioner Hester Pierce at the meeting of the Task Force of Blockchains, Cryptocurrencies and Investment Management at the Winter Meeting 2023 of the ABA’s Federal Regulation of Securities Committee. The meeting agenda includes a fireside chat with SEC Chair Gary Gensler, a dialog with Erik Gerdin, director of the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance, various CLE and practice-specific discussions, and will include committee and subcommittee meetings and social events.
