On January 28, 2025, Sidley Partner Lara Shalov Mehraban will participate in a panel on “Best Practices in Testimony, Wells Process, Settlements, and APs” at the first Securities Enforcement Forum to be held in New York City. Securities Docket has been hosting the Forum annually in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and Chicago since 2012.

The New York Forum will showcase Keynote Q&A discussions with the SEC’s Acting Enforcement Director Sanjay Wadhwa and New York Regional Director Antonia Apps. Nearly 50 thought leaders in the securities enforcement field, including six former SEC enforcement directors and numerous enforcement officials from the New York office, will discuss cryptocurrency, whistleblowers, financial and accounting fraud, the impact of artificial intelligence (AI), advanced litigation and investigation strategies, managing SEC-related criminal matters, insider trading, climate, cybersecurity, and other pressing topics.

CLE credit will be available to attendees in certain states (pending in Delaware and reciprocal states including New York).
