Andrew Sioson to Moderate Panel at MFA Ops: Data, Tech & AI 2026

Sidley Securities Enforcement and Regulatory and Investment Funds partner Andrew Sioson will serve as a moderator at MFA Ops: Data, Tech and AI 2026 on November 10 at UBS in New York. The conference brings together industry professionals to explore the evolving role of data, technology, and artificial intelligence in the alternative investment management industry.

Andrew’s session, “The Future of AI Policy and Regulation: Elections, Emerging Guardrails, and the Road Ahead,” will examine the evolving regulatory landscape for artificial intelligence and its implications for investment managers. The discussion will explore emerging federal and state regulatory approaches, the application of existing SEC and FINRA requirements to AI technologies, and key considerations surrounding AI governance, compliance, and oversight. Panelists will also address the potential impact of the U.S. midterm elections on AI policymaking, international regulatory developments, and emerging risks shaping the future of AI regulation.
