Eric Schwartz to Speak at National Center for State Courts National Forum on Commercial Courts

Sidley partner Eric Schwartz will serve as a panelist at the National Center for State Courts’ National Forum on Commercial Courts, taking place Thursday, November 19, 2026 in Washington, D.C. The forum will bring together leaders from the judiciary, private practice, and corporate legal community to discuss the evolving role of commercial courts and the needs of businesses and practitioners.

Eric’s session, “What Businesses and Lawyers Need from State Courts,” will be moderated by Hon. Collins J. Seitz, Jr., Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware. Leaders from the private bar and corporate legal community will discuss expectations for modern commercial dispute resolution and the evolving relationship between business stakeholders and state courts. The conversation will focus on efficiency, expertise, transparency, and maintaining confidence in the judicial system.
