INSIGHT: EPA Is Reasonable to Ease Reporting Amid COVID-19

The EPA’s recent move to ease monitoring and reporting obligations for those affected by the coronavirus pandemic has been called a blank check for ignoring environment laws. Sidley lawyers say the guidance is reasonable and a petition by environmental groups for an emergency rulemaking and other legal challenges are unlikely to succeed.
