Sidley Shortlisted at Law Society Awards 2021

Sidley has been shortlisted for the “Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion” category at the 2021 Law Society Awards. This award recognizes successful and innovative examples of the promotion of diversity, inclusion, and social mobility. Sidley’s inclusion in the shortlist is linked to, and in recognition of, the work of the London Committee on Retention and Promotion of Women.

Meanwhile, Fatema Orjela, who chairs the London Committee on Retention and Promotion of Women at the firm, was also shortlisted for the “Woman Solicitor of the Year” award, in recognition of the professional excellence she demonstrates in her field of private equity, and in her championing of women.

Winners will be announced at the virtual awards ceremony on October 7, 2021.
