Sidley’s Kate Roberts a 2023 “Top Labor & Employment Lawyer” Says Daily Journal

Katherine (Kate) Roberts has been named to the Daily Journal’s 2023 “Top Labor & Employment Lawyers” list. This is the second consecutive year Kate has been included in the list, which recognizes California lawyers based on their work on recent significant cases, investigations, and transactions that had an impact on the larger world of labor and employment.
Kate co-chairs Sidley’s Labor, Employment and Immigration group whose experience extends to all aspects of employment litigation, counseling, and labor relations. She routinely handles wage and hour class and collective actions such as state and federal overtime exemptions and claims under California’s Private Attorney General Act. She defends employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and other causes of action under state and federal law including the National Labor Relations Act. Kate’s accomplishments profiled by the Daily Journal include a complete victory at trial in a major employment wage and hour lawsuit and her work leading the employment and labor team on numerous major transactions and union negotiations.
