Sidley has been shortlisted at the upcoming The Lawyer European Awards 2024 in the “Best Pro Bono Initiative” category. The annual awards “celebrate excellence across the European legal market.”
The firm has been shortlisted in this category for its Trade for Development Initiative and its mission to provide development-focussed pro bono legal assistance to low-income States and other developing country entities. The initiative is led from the firm’s European offices by partners Iain Sandford and Nicholas Lockhart and is coordinated from Geneva by pro bono manager Diana Carballo.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on November 28, 2024.
