Sidley partner Colleen Brown has been selected to join the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) Advisory Board. The purpose of the Advisory Board is to help inform EPIC’s important work on emerging privacy and human rights issues. Colleen focuses on privacy, cybersecurity, data protection, and emerging technology issues for a diverse group of companies, including those in the financial, life sciences, telecommunications, media, retail, and manufacturing sectors. Colleen was a recommended lawyer by Legal 500 USA for Cyber Law in 2017, and Legal 500 noted, “Colleen Brown demonstrates ‘confidence in making judgment calls on complex issues.’” Washingtonian magazine named Colleen among its “Top Lawyers” for Cybersecurity in 2019.
