Sidley is representing Vietnamese real estate developer No Va Land Investment Group Corporation (No Va Land), one of the largest listed real estate developers in Vietnam, in the restructuring of its Singapore Exchange-listed (SGX), New York-law governed offshore US$300 million convertible bonds.
On March 5, 2024, No Va Land announced on the SGX that it is seeking to implement the restructuring of the convertible bonds through a prepackaged Scheme of Arrangement under Singapore’s Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018.
Sidley’s multidisciplinary, cross-border team is being led by Matthew Sheridan (Singapore), Alexius Chong (Singapore), Gordon Davidson (Hong Kong), and Mark Knight (London), and supported by Shashwat Tewary (Singapore), Joshua Oeij (Hong Kong), Elley Lee (Hong Kong), and Caulyn Bong (Singapore).
