Biography

SUMITA AHUJA advises global corporations and financial institutions on a broad range of complex and transformative financing transactions. Her practice spans both domestic and cross-border matters, with a particular focus on representing corporate borrowers in sophisticated debt structures including acquisition financings and leveraged financings.

Sumita has extensive experience across syndicated credit facilities, direct lending transactions, secured and mezzanine financings, and acquisition and bridge financings, as well as refinancings and other bespoke capital solutions. She regularly counsels clients on structuring, negotiating, and executing financing arrangements in dynamic and high-stakes environments.

Her work covers a range of industries, including financial services, private equity, infrastructure, and diversified corporates, where she supports clients in navigating evolving market conditions and achieving their strategic financing objectives.
