Biography

Olivia represents individuals and corporations at all stages of litigation.

Prior to joining Sidley, Olivia clerked for Judge Allison Jones Rushing of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Olivia received her J.D. from Yale Law School. While in law school, she served as a bulletin editor for the Yale Journal on Regulation, and the data analysis chair for the Yale Law Women Top Firms Committee. She also participated in the Media Freedom and Information Access Clinic, which is dedicated to advancing the public’s right of access to information needed for democracy to function, promoting government accountability, and protecting free speech.

Prior to law school, Olivia was a scientific researcher in the fields of infectious disease epidemiology and cancer immunotherapy treatment. She received her M.P.H. from Yale School of Public Health and her B.A. in biology, magna cum laude, from Wake Forest University, where she was a recipient of the "Nancy Susan Reynolds Scholarship," a four-year full scholarship awarded on the basis of exceptional academic achievement, creative leadership, and extracurricular excellence.
