ERIK DUPIRE-NELSON focuses his practice on representing clients in the offering and formation of private funds and representing institutional investors in connection with their investments in private funds (including private real estate funds and secondary transactions). He also advises registered funds on legal and regulatory compliance with securities laws.
Erik holds a degree with departmental honors in both history and political science from Columbia College, Columbia University. He received his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where his focus areas included energy law and international business transactions. Prior to attending law school, Erik worked in the consulting and digital transactions departments at one of the leading global payments companies, where his responsibilities included strategic planning, spend trend analysis, and ensuring compliance with foreign privacy law requirements.
