Biography
ASHLEY GARCIA VELAZQUEZ focuses her practice in both federal and state court. She has experience in matters involving complex commercial litigation, contract disputes, and white collar and corporate criminal matters.
Ashley earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and the Order of the Coif.
During law school, Ashley served as staff-managing editor for University of Miami Race & Social Justice Law Review. Ashley also interned for the Innocence Clinic, where she received the “CALI Excellence for the Future” award and the Jonathan Richter “Never Give Up” award for her fighting spirit and for exhibiting outstanding contributions to the Innocence Clinic and the wrongfully convicted. Also during law school, Ashley interned with a federal district court judge.
