Daniel N. Hill

DANIEL HILL focuses his practice on the representation of financial institutions in real estate finance and development, with particular emphasis on construction lending and credit enhancement of tax-exempt bonds for the financing of affordable multifamily housing. Daniel has experience representing private equity investors in the formation of joint ventures. Daniel’s representative clients include major global investment banks and financial institutions. Daniel has been recognized in the 2022 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for his work in real estate law.

Prior to joining Sidley, Daniel was an associate at another major law firm where he represented financial institutions in real estate financing and development transactions. Daniel also has experience serving as a tax consultant at a Big 4 accounting firm assisting major real estate institutions with their tax compliance and consulting. 

While attending Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Daniel was a magistrate fellow and a staff editor for the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal.
