LIZZIE HORWITZ focuses her practice on complex litigation matters.
Prior to joining Sidley, Lizzie was an extern for Judge Ronald F. Bartkowicz in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. She is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Lizzie was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Chicago-Kent Law Review. She was awarded the Edmund G. Burke Award for Outstanding Oratory and won Best Oralist in the Touro Law Center’s National Moot Court Competition in Law & Religion.
Before attending law school, Lizzie graduated summa cum laude from New York University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Media, Culture, and Communication, and minored in Creative Writing.
