Stephanie J. Houghton

STEPHANIE HOUGHTON focuses her practice on commercial litigation and disputes.

Prior to joining Sidley, Stephanie participated in the Street Law Program where she taught a mock trial course at a local D.C. high school over the course of a semester and worked as an extern for the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division, Commercial Litigation Branch: Fraud Section.

While attending Georgetown University Law Center, Stephanie served as the solicitations editor of the Georgetown Journal of Internal Law and president of the Student Bar Association. Upon graduation, Stephanie received the “Dean’s Achievement Award” (2024), “Washington Law Reporter Award”(2024), and a Dean’s Certificate (2024).
