ANDREW JAMES focuses his practice on advising life science corporations on a variety of issues, including good manufacturing practice (GMP) compliance and other regulatory issues, as well as responding to government enforcement actions and conducting internal investigations.
Prior to joining the firm, Andrew spent time working with the Consumer Protection Branch of the Department of Justice where he handled a variety of criminal and civil actions including cases involving the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), mail and wire fraud, money laundering, and violations of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA).
Andrew received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a B.A. in religious studies and political science.
