Biography

JESSICA “JESSIE” JOYCE advises clients through all stages of litigation, representing companies and individuals across a range of industries in complex civil matters, government investigations, and arbitrations. Her practice includes significant experience in high-stakes class actions, including in the entertainment space and in privacy matters involving consumer-facing websites.

In addition to her class action work, Jessie has experience handling sophisticated disputes involving royalty claims, securities investigations, commercial disputes, and criminal matters. She has experience in all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, expert coordination, and case strategy development.

Prior to joining Sidley, Jessie participated in Sidley’s Pro Bono Fellowship Program, working with the ACLU of Southern California on matters relating to police practices. During law school, Jessie worked in the El Centro Workers’ Rights Clinic and was a member of the Art Law Society. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Jacqueline H. Nguyen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
