Biography
MEREDITH KEENAN focuses her practice on litigating complex commercial cases in federal court, and representing clients in government investigations and enforcement actions.
Meredith received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, Meredith served as editor-in-chief of the Annual Survey of White Collar Crime within the American Criminal Law Review. Prior to joining Sidley, Meredith externed for both Judge Millett on the D.C. Circuit and Chief Judge Boasberg on the District Court for the District of Columbia.
Meredith obtained her undergraduate degree from Colby College, where she majored in government and French studies.
Community Involvement
Pro Bono
Meredith was a pro bono fellow for Everytown for Gun Safety where she drafted legal memorandum, complaints, and pleadings for trial and appellate matters nationwide on issues involving Second Amendment jurisprudence and products liability. She assisted the affirmative litigation team in conjunction with national and local co-counsel to develop case management and strategy.
