Biography

JOEL KRINSKY focuses his practice on structured finance and securitization transactions, with particular emphasis on residential mortgage-backed securities, mortgage finance, and collateralized loan obligations. He represents a range of market participants, including financial institutions, issuers, sponsors, and asset managers, in connection with private offerings, CLO refinancings and resets, and co-sponsored transactions involving credit risk retention arrangements.

Joel also advises clients on U.S. securities law matters arising in domestic and cross-border offerings, including Rule 144A and Regulation S transactions, disclosure matters, and related legal opinions.

Prior to his legal career, he spent eight years in supply chain management and operations, culminating in his role as a consultant at Ernst & Young.

While attending Brooklyn Law School, Joel served as an editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law.
