JACOB LESTER focuses his practice on all aspects of corporate restructuring, including bankruptcy court proceedings and representing debtors, creditors, and investors in large and complex restructuring transactions. He also maintains an active pro bono practice assisting not-for-profit organizations with corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining Sidley, Jacob was a paralegal for a criminal defense law firm.
While attending Georgetown University Law Center, Jacob served as an editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. He was also a research assistant for Professor Anna Gelpern conducting research on international finance and sovereign debt.
