ERIC MCARTHUR, partner in the Supreme Court and Appellate practice, has extensive experience representing clients before the U.S. Supreme Court, the federal courts of appeals, and state appellate courts throughout the country, as well as handling dispositive and other critical motions in the trial court. He has assisted clients in a broad range of cases involving many different areas of law, including administrative law, arbitration law, contract law, constitutional law, energy law, environmental law, food and drug law, insurance law, intellectual property law, labor and employment law, securities law, tort law, transportation law, and others.
Eric previously served as Deputy Associate Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice, where he helped supervise and manage high-stakes litigation handled by the Civil Division and the Environment and Natural Resources Division and coordinated litigation with the White House Counsel’s Office and various federal agencies. Earlier in his career, Eric served as a law clerk for Justice Clarence Thomas on the United States Supreme Court and for Judge J. Michael Luttig on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
