Biography

MATTHEW NAIFEH focuses his practice on advising private investors, including private equity firms and their portfolio companies, in connection with leveraged buyouts, sell-side transactions, add-on acquisitions, and related transactions across a broad range of industries. 

While attending Seton Hall University School of Law, Matthew served as an editor of the Seton Hall Law Review.

  • Compactor Rentals of America, LLC, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, LLC, in its acquisition of Tower Compactor Rentals.
  • Mas Restaurant Group (MRG), a franchisee of Taco Bell restaurants in the Houston, Texas and Columbus, Ohio metropolitan areas, in the sale of its 43 Ohio locations to Southpaw.
  • Bessemer Investors, LLC in its significant investment in Xanitos, Inc., a specialized provider of healthcare cleaning and support services for hospitals and ambulatory care centers across the United States.
  • Archimed Group in its US$1.1 billion take-private acquisition of Esperion Therapeutics (Nasdaq: ESPR), a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing and delivering innovative cardiometabolic and rare/orphan disease therapies.
  • Shield AI in the acquisition of software simulation company Aechelon Technology Inc., a Sagewind Capital portfolio company.
  • Achieve Partners in its acquisition of Wise Music Group's Digital Education division.
