William Joseph Patton

WILLIAM JOSEPH PATTON focuses his practice on tax matters.

Prior to joining Sidley, Billy Joe served as a judicial intern to The Honorable Eugene E. Siler Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He also served as an intern for a large accounting firm and the United States Senate.

While attending the University of South Carolina School of Law, Billy Joe was a law clerk for the Labor, Commerce, and Industry Committee of the South Carolina House of Representatives and volunteered for the law school’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
