Biography
BILL REIS focuses his practice on commercial litigation and disputes. He represents individuals and corporations at all stages of litigation.
Prior to joining Sidley, Bill clerked for The Honorable Andrew L. Brasher of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Bill earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. While attending law school, he was a staff editor for the Columbia Journal of Tax Law and an executive editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy 2023 Symposium Issue. He also interned for The Honorable Benjamin J. Beaton of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.
Before law school, Bill earned his B.A. in political science from Duke University and his M.A. in American government from Georgetown University.
