Biography

NAILA SCOTT focuses her practice on complex commercial cases and representing clients through internal investigations and government enforcement actions.

Naila also practices before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and state regulators in the common carrier, international, wireless, and media fields.

Naila earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Howard University School of Law. While in law school, she served as a senior notes and comments editor for the Howard Law Journal. Prior to joining Sidley, Naila worked as a legal extern for the United States Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. Naila also worked as a legal extern for a leading media and entertainment company where she supported government affairs and regulatory matters before the FCC and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Naila received her B.S., magna cum laude, from Florida State University.
