Biography
MAYA SHAIR focuses her practice on commercial litigation and disputes. Maya additionally maintains an active pro bono practice.
Maya received her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was an intern for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, a legal research and writing fellow, a student attorney for the Civil Rights Clinic, and executive editor of the American Criminal Law Review.
Prior to law school, Maya worked at Sidley’s office in Washington D.C. and at the Supreme Court of the United States.
