Biography

GRIGORIOS SPANOS conducts economic analysis for companies and governments on international trade and competition policy matters. Working closely with Sidley’s lawyers, Grigorios supports clients by applying economic principles, models, and data science methods to legal concepts.

Prior to joining the firm, Grigorios was an adjunct lecturer at the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies in Geneva, where he taught courses in microeconomics, econometrics, and international trade.

Grigorios holds a Ph.D. in international economics from the University of Toronto. His Ph.D. examines how competition and international trade affect the structure of firms.
