Sidley partners Amy P. Lally and Katherine (Kate) A. Roberts have been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal in its 2023 “Women of Influence: Attorneys” list, which annually profiles the region’s most influential women legal professionals “for exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community.”
As global co-leader of Sidley’s Consumer Class Action practice, Amy represents consumer product and service industry clients in class action litigation arising under California’s Unfair Business Practices Act, False Advertising Law, the Consumers Legal Remedies Act, and other statutes. Amy is a member of the Prop 65 Clearinghouse Advisory Board, Cambridge Food Law Forum’s Steering Committee, and the USC Institute for Corporate Counsel’s Board of Governors. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers Association Los Angeles.
Kate is the co-chair of Sidley’s Labor, Employment and Immigration practice and the Greater Los Angeles chair of SidleyWomen. Kate also is a member of the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) Global Advisory Board. She also serves as outside counsel for labor and employment matters to The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for young LGBTQ people, and the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California.
