Sidley’s Kate L. Lashley Named a “Rising Star” by Law360

Kate L. Lashley, a partner in Sidley’s Miami office, has been named a “Rising Star” by Law360 in the Compliance category. The annual list honors lawyers under 40 “whose legal accomplishments transcend their age.”

Kate, a partner in Sidley’s Securities and Regulatory practice and OTC Derivatives industry group, has been a compliance superstar since the beginning of her career. With a practice focused on advising derivatives market participants on regulatory and compliance issues relating to the Commodity Exchange Act and the CFTC’s regulations, Kate was well-positioned to make a name for herself in this rapidly-changing field. Beyond her busy practice, she helped found and launch Sidley’s office in Miami, plays a key role in its growth, and is active in helping develop the firm’s blockchain practice.
