Mahalia Doughty Named Among Oil and Gas Investor’s 2026 “40 Under 40”

Mahalia Doughty, a partner in Sidley’s Houston office, has been named to Oil and Gas Investor’s 2026 “40 Under 40” list (a Hart Energy publication). The annual list profiles rising stars across the oil and gas industry for their demonstrated leadership and significant impact on their respective organizations, as well as for their entrepreneurial spirit, innovative problem-solving capabilities, and active community engagement. Honorees will be profiled in a special supplement to the July issue of Oil and Gas Investor.

Mahalia’s practice centers on complex, high-value financing transactions across the energy value chain. She regularly advises financial institutions, private credit lenders, private equity sponsors and public and private companies on sophisticated energy financings in both the United States and international markets. Her experience spans a broad range of structures, including traditional energy lending arrangements, bespoke structured financings and large-scale project financings.
