Sidley Advises Circle on CPN Managed Payments Launch

Sidley advised Circle Internet Financial, LLC on the launch of Circle Payments Network (CPN) Managed Payments. Announced on April 8, 2026, CPN Managed Payments is a managed, unified stablecoin settlement solution that allows payment service providers, fintechs, banks, and global platforms to access the speed and efficiency of regulated stablecoin payments without holding or managing digital assets directly.

The solution abstracts digital asset complexity, enabling partners to interact solely in fiat while Circle manages the entire digital asset life cycle, including USDC minting and burning, payment orchestration, compliance controls, and blockchain infrastructure. By providing a turnkey, fully managed settlement layer for mainstream financial institutions, CPN Managed Payments positions Circle to accelerate institutional participation in the internet financial system.
