Sidley Represents Connor Schell in Connection With the Sale of the North Road Company to Mediawan

Sidley represented Connor Schell, creator of iconic television programming including ESPN’s 30 for 30 and 60 for 60 and founder of Words + Pictures, in connection with the nearly ten-figure sale of the North Road Company to Mediawan and the related restructuring of Words + Pictures. The transaction marks a significant combination of global media and entertainment platforms and establishes the go-forward structure for Words + Pictures.

Sidley previously advised Connor Schell on his exit from ESPN, the founding and initial capital raise for Words + Pictures, the acquisition of Words + Pictures by North Road, and all aspects of the Mediawan transaction.

The deal team was led by Matthew Thompson and included Eden Shemuelian and Jonathan Westreich.
